BEYOND THE FUTURE MAKERS: WHERE TO NOW?
Max Allen’s award-winning 2010 book, The Future Makers, featured the larrikins and ratbags, the old and the young, the newbies and the nerds putting the soul back into Australian wine culture – people asking themselves: What’s special about where I am? Have I planted the most appropriate varieties for a changing climate? What’s the best way to grow my grapes and make my wine? This session brings together a panel of those Future Makers to discuss the dramatic changes that have take place in the five years since the book came out, and how they see Australian wine culture evolving over the next five.
